Totmianina and her skating partner Maxim Marinin are probably the best figure skating team in the world today. They won the pairs' World Figure Skating Championship title two times (2004, 2005) and they are five-time European champions (2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006). They are coached by Oleg Vasiliev.
