Teesra (from a Urdu/Hindi word, translating to 'the third one') is a cricket delivery that may have been invented by Pakistani off spinner Saqlain Mushtaq. Use in computer cricket games

According to EA Sports' Cricket 07 game, a teesra is an off-spinner's delivery that starts off like a normal off break ball, but after release drifts slowly to the batsmen, before pitching and turning at an angle whilst picking up speed and bouncing higher than a normal delivery. This is particularly useful if bowled just away from a right handed batsman's leg stump, as he would often be unprepared and may play the shot too late. When asked about the teesra - he replied that he was quoted out of context.
What he actually meant when he said that he was preparing a 'teesra' delivery - that he was preparing for his third child which media misconstrued and went overboard in reporting that he was preparing for a succesor to the 'doosra' ball.
