When Sektor lost control of the Lin Kuei to Sub-Zero, he left for Japan and started the Tekunin, as portrayed in Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition. There is very little information about the Tekunin other than what has already been presented. The group's meaning could mean "Iron Ninja" because "Tekko" means "Iron" and "Nin" refers to ninja.
