 | The Tellin’ Stories Project of Teaching for Change operates from the belief that for schools to provide the quality education our children deserve, families, schools and communities must be involved as purposeful partners in the education process. |
| Tellin' Stories was initially funded with a three-year grant to the DC Public Schools from the United States Department of Education Fund for the Improvement and Reform of Schools and Teaching. |
| Tellin' Stories currently receives funding from the Cafritz Foundation, Brimstone, the Columbus Foundation, Initiative to Strengthen Neighborhood Inter-group Assets, Threshold, the Humanities Council of Washington, DC and the Hattie Strong Foundation. |
