Personality

Although she appears quite frequently, Temari's role throughout the series has primarily consisted of her participation in battles. As such, her personality is left largely unexplored. What is seen of her personality in Part I shows her to be fairly hostile to her opponents, and she doesn't hesitate to do what is necessary to win a battle. This trait carries over somewhat to her interactions with others as she is generally overbearing, if not crude, toward those around her, often not being afraid to speak her mind. Despite this, Temari does have a caring side, and is not above showing concern for others. She also seems to value the peace, and questions Sunagakure's justifications for going to war with Konoha.

Temari, Gaara, and Kankuro in Part II

In Part II, Temari begins acting as a liaison between Sunagakure and Konohagakure as the two villages prepare for the next Chunin Exam. Like Kankuro, her relations with Gaara have greatly improved, though she is not nearly as close to Gaara as Kankuro now is. Upon learning that Gaara has been kidnapped by Akatsuki, Temari rushes to Sunagakure to see how she can help save her brother. When she finds that Kankuro has been poisoned, she watches over him until he is able to move about and the two join together to help look for Gaara. Once Gaara is found and saved, Temari joins Kankuro in thanking Team 7 for saving their brother. Image File history File links No higher resolution available. ... Oddly, many of Temari's appearances are associated with Shikamaru Nara. The two face each other during the final matches of the Chunin Exams, where Shikamaru forfeits his match instead of defeating Temari. Temari later comes to his aid during the Sasuke Retrieval arc and defeats Tayuya to save him. Shikamaru returns the favor in the last of the anime's filler arcs and saves her from one of the Shiitenshounin. In addition, the two are seen together in their Part II debuts. In this instance, Naruto Uzumaki asks if the two are on a date, though both make it clear that this is not the case.-1... Abilities

Temari using her giant fan.

Temari is a keen analyst, and can easily deduce an opponent's strategies and weaknesses soon after a battle begins. She's second only to Shikamaru who could calculate and analyze her every move during the finals of the Chunin Exam. For actual combat she uses her giant iron fan that, in addition to serving as a makeshift club, can be used to glide upon in order to intimidate her foes. Inscribed on her fan are three purple circles spaced equally across its length, which she calls "stars" ("moons" in the English dub). As she opens the fan to reveal each star in sequence, the fan's power increases greatly. Image File history File links Temari's_kyodaisen. ... Image File history File links Temari's_kyodaisen. ... Once all three stars are revealed, Temari can use her Cutting Whirlwind Technique (カマイタチの術 Kamaitachi no Jutsu?, English TV "Wind Scythe Jutsu") or the more powerful Great Cutting Whirlwind Technique (大カマイタチの術 Daikamaitachi no Jutsu?) to create slicing whirlwinds. Because she can guide these forces with her chakra, she can easily use them to attack her opponents from great distances. Temari's fan is also capable of creating tornadoes, and with her Wind Release: Severing Pressure ( Futon: Tatsu no Oshigoto?) she can trap opponents and cut them in the process. In addition, her fan can be used to catch opponents off guard, and with Dust Wind Technique (塵の風の術 Fūsajin no Jutsu?, English TV "Sand Storm Jutsu") she can create a wind current to blanket the area in dust, making it difficult for an opponent to stand once it has settled.

Temari can also summon Kamatari, a one-eyed weasel summoned with her fan. Kamatari serves to aid her in battle, particularly by creating strong gusts of wind to attack her opponents. Over the timeskip, Temari rises to the rank of Jonin, indicating that she has put a great deal of effort into honing her abilities. In the anime and manga series, Naruto, summons are entities conjured up by the user to aid them in battle or to perform a technique that the summoner cannot perform as easily by themselves. ...

Absolute Anime / Naruto / Temari (343 words)
When Temari comes into the show in episode 20, she is indeed 15 years old, but after the two and a half year gap in the show in what is known as "Naruto 2", she is then 18 and at the rank of Jounin.
Temari is the daughter of the Kazekage of the Village Hidden in the Sand which is also known and Sunagakure No Sato.
During the 2.5 year gap in Naruto, she becomes a Jounin, and she seems to be a link or a "liaison" between The Leaf Village and The Sand village.
Shikamaru vs Temari (Episode 64) – Winner: Temari Match - Naruto Battle Summary (920 words)
Temari gets pissed and says "If you're not going to attack, I will!" She sprints over towards Shikomaru all determined while Shikomaru just pulls out two shiruken and says to himself "she seems excited over this..." Temari slams her closed fan onto the ground which creates a huge dust cloud.
Temari continues to dodge until she is between the two holes in the middle fo the stadium (they were made during naruto and neji's fight) and once again out of range.
Shikomaru thought about a million steps ahead of Temari and purposley lured her between the holes so he could connect his shadow imitation technique to connect his shadow to the hole in front of Temari, and use the tunnel to attach his shadow from behind her.
