Terry Allen is a former NFL running back. In the 1990 NFL Draft he was selected in the 9th round by the Minnesota Vikings. Despite his draft info he became an all-pro running back for many years. During his 3 season career with the Vikings he gathered 2,797 rushing yards with 23 rushing touchdowns. After Minnesota, he joined the Washington Redskins and wasting no time in his first year, he ran over 1,000 yards with 10 rushing touchdowns. During the 1996 season, his second with the redskins, he gathered 21 rushing touchdowns, only 9 others running backs every rushed over 20 touchdowns in a single season. He also had another career best in the 1996 season besides 21 rushing touchdowns, he ran for 1,353 yards, which have earned him a spot in the Pro Bowl. After the 1996 season, he played with Washington for only two more seasons and ran over 700 yards in both seasons each. In 1999, he played for the New England Patriots, where he ran close to 900 yards with 8 rushing touchdowns. He had his worst season of his career with the New Orleans Saints in 2000. Even though he had a terrible season with the Saints, in 2001 the Baltimore Ravens signed him to a one year deal due to losing Jamal Lewis for the season.
