Tesco Lotus is a hypermarket chain in Thailand. Established in 1998, it is a joint venture of a local Charoen Pokphand Group and Tesco, the British giant supermarket chain. Tesco Lotus stores generally stock groceries as well as a selection of stationary, school supplies, clothing, shoes, and various other non-food products. Some stores also have food courts. In various locations within Thailand, Tesco Lotus Express stores (a smaller version of the Tesco Lotus supermarket) have opened at gas stations.
