USED BOATS FOR SALE, AUSTRALIA - MotorSM (0 words)
If the winds are fair to Angus and his crew on his 40' racing yacht, Tevake, he will be celebrating his 60th birthday in style at Stanley's Dockside Carnival the next day.
Angus built Tevake, an Adams/Radford 40', in 1986 and has raced her hard over the years, culminating with a win in the Melbourne to Hobart in 2001.
His new boat, to be called Tevake II, is being prepared for the hardships of Bass Strait and will be ready for the Melbourne to Hobart.

Tevake II, the line honours leader in the Queensland Government sponsored Port Vila to Mackay race, the 1134 nautical mile second leg of the South Pacific Boomerang series, is expected to cross the Mackay finish line tomorrow morning.
At this morning's Tascoast Radio sked, she was 13 miles east north east Of Howards Patch Reef, which is the outer reef turning mark, a little over 200 miles from the Mackay finish line.
It's been a hard wet reach for the Mackay bound fleet for the last 36 hours, but when the Radford 45 Tevake II turns the corner, she will surf north north west pushed by a 20/25 knot wind, which will continue to build overnight and she could easily finish around dawn.
