  • I wish I was in Texas - Sandy Cheeks (with Junior Brown)
Wish I was back in Texas,
The ocean's no place for a squirrel
Wish I was in Texas,
Prettiest place in the world, oh no
I guess deep in my heart,
I'll always be a Texas girl
I wanna go hommmme...hoommmmme,
Yodel-ay-e-oh, yodel-ay-e-oh,
Yodel-ay-e-oh, a-lay-ee, a-lay-ee
I wanna wake up in Texas,
I miss those wide, open skies
I miss my twenty acres,
Barbeques and pecan pies, oh why
When I'm so far from you Texas,
All I can do is cry
Yodel-ay-e-oh, yodel-ay-e-oh,
Yodel-ay-e-oh, a-lay-ee, a-lay-ee
I wanna go hoommme,
I wanna go hooommmmme

Plot

SpongeBob, Patrick and Sandy are making sandcastles at Goo Lagoon when Sandy gets upset that Texas is a memory. She also looks depressed. She walks off, while SpongeBob tries to cheer her up. Sandy says she's homesick, and so SpongeBob and Patrick blindfold her and take her to her treedome. "Welcome home, Sandy!" they say, but Sandy knows this is not her real home. SpongeBob and Patrick realize that Sandy's from Texas, and decide to bring some Texas to Bikini Bottom to cheer up Sandy. Sandy wants to leave Bikini Bottom and go back to Texas, but SpongeBob and Patrick have a surprise for her at the Krusty Krab. Failing to convince her to go to the Krusty Krab, Patrick shouts after the bus containing Sandy, saying "Yeah, what's so great about dumb old Texas?" Sandy comes back, and SpongeBob thinks of an idea. They start insulting Texas, and so Sandy angerly chases them. They hope to reach the Krusty Krab before Sandy catches them. When SpongeBob finally reaches the Krusty Krab, everyone there says "Howdy y'all!" It turns out that SpongeBob organized a surprise party, and Sandy decides to stay in Bikini Bottom, when she realizes she was "home" the whole time.
