During the early 1980s, the room was a top destination for touring acts — Cheap Trick, Motorhead, the Ramones, Public Enemy and Richard Thompson — and an incubator for homegrown talents.
During that era, the Back Room hosted roots rock bands such as the LeRoi Brothers, Commandos, and Omar and the Howlers.
