The Casket Lottery is a a three-piece indie rock band from Kansas City, Missouri. The band played together between the years of 1997 and 2005. The Casket Lottery is comprised of former members of the popular Hardcore band, Coalesce. Singer Nathan Ellis posted a message to the fans on the band's website in February that The Casket Lottery had officially broken up. Although recently, Nathan has posted a new message on their website stating that there is a possible reunion in the works in between working on their side projects.
