Produced by Matt Goldman in Atlanta, Georgia, Everything Is Alive, Everything Is Breathing, Nothing Is Dead, and Nothing Is Bleeding is The Chariot's debut album. “I don’t strive for long titles,” Scogin explains. “I do make sure that every single title has purpose and meaning though. The album title is pretty much just trying to break away from the ‘dead, dying, bleeding, bloody, stabbing, killing, shooting, hand grenading’ you get the idea. It is just trying to say that life is actually okay.” Everything Is Alive, Everything Is Breathing, Nothing Is Dead, and Nothing Is Bleeding Everything Is Alive, Everything Is Breathing, Nothing Is Dead, and Nothing Is Bleeding is the debut album by Douglasville, GAs The Chariot. ...

June 14, 2006 Announcement

"New Members"

In the early stages of every band, members often change due to whatever reason. And in this case it is no different. Having only done one full length record The Chariot is a very young band, and some changes have come. The only difference is for The Chariot many people have grown to know the members very well, which only makes changes like this more difficult to understand. But we rest in knowing you will. Recently, Keller and Beiser have quit the band for reasons of their own. Although it is something they felt they had to do, we would like for everyone to welcome newcomers Dan Eaton and Jon Terrey. They have been best friends of The Chariot for much longer than the band has existed so everyone is eye to eye on the love of music and the band is very much excited about the change. Obviously, the music will remain the same and every show is still booked and ready to go. They have currently started writing for their new record scheduled to come out early next year. "The songs we have written are by far some of my favorite songs yet," Scogin explains, "Obviously we love Keller and Beiser and we wish the best for them, but we respect their decision and we look forward to see what is to come." We do hope to see you soon. God bless everyone.

"We are very pleased to welcome newcomers Dan Eaton and Jon Terrey to the line up! The Chariot has recently parted ways with members Keller Harbin and Joshua Beiser. It was a mutual decision on all parties involved, and we are very grateful for the times we have had. We hope the best for them. In other news, we are currently writing for our 2nd full-length CD scheduled to come out early next year. With an extremely busy year coming up, be sure to check the shows page to know when we will be in your neck of the woods. God bless you all.

Chariot - LoveToKnow 1911 (544 words)
The wheels and body of the chariot were usually of wood, strengthened in places with bronze or iron; the wheels had from four to eight spokes and tires of bronze or iron.
The chariots of the Egyptians and Assyrians, with whom the bow was the principal arm of attack, were richly mounted with quivers full of arrows, while those of the Greeks, whose characteristic weapon was the spear, were plain except as regards mere decoration.
The chariot was unsuited to the uneven soil of Greece and Italy, and it is not improbable that these nations had brought it with them as part of their original habits from their former seats in the East.
