The Duke was an NBC series with an unusual plot: an artistic boxer suddenly leaves the ring to open up a nightclub. This summer show was run from July 2nd - September 10th, 1954, starring television newcomer Paul Gilbert as the creative boxer, Duke Zenlee.

This show is not related to the The Duke (TV miniseries) aired in 1979, nor The Dukes, an animated direct spin-off of The Dukes of Hazzard.
The Dukes of Hazzard follows the adventures of the Duke boys, cousins Bo Duke (John Schneider) and Luke Duke (Tom Wopat), and their curvaceous cousin Daisy Duke (Catherine Bach), as they cavort around the small town of Hazzard County in the hills of Georgia.
The Dukes of Hazzard debuted in January of 1979 and was an instant success.
Dukes held the #1 spot in its time period across those six seasons, making it one of the most popular television series of all time.
Since Duke is the major private tertiary care center in the Southeast, physicians and other hospitals refer complicated, hard-to-treat diseases from all over the region.
Duke is also a primary care facility for the people of Durham and surrounding counties.
This session is attended by the resident on the dermatopathology rotation and by the house staff performing inpatient consultations at Duke University Hospital.
