The Electric Grandmother was a 1982 made for TV movie based on the short story I Sing the Body Electric by Ray Bradbury. It starred Maureen Stapletonand Edward Herrmannand was directed by Noel Black. It has been realeased on VHS distributed by Coronet Video, but the video tape has now become hard to obtain.

The Electric Grandmother has received an Emmynomination and has won a Peabody. It has been recongized by Chicago International Festival of Children's films; International Film Festival for Children and Youth; American Film Festival and the Southern California Motion Picture Council.
