The First Slayer was around during the plague of vampires on the Earth. Very little was known about them then. Three elders from local villages got together and thought of a plan to rid their village of vampires. But to do it, they needed a warrior, and they chose a girl. They took this girl away and chained her to the ground, so she couldn't escape. Then they bound the soul of a demon and ancient magics inside the girl, forming the First Slayer. She had incredible speed, strength, and a thirst for the kill. She slayed many vampires during her time and is still remembered through the Slayer line. Appearances The First Slayer first appears in the Season 4 finale, Restless. She kills, in their respective dreams, Giles, Xander and Willow. She fights Buffy, but does not manage to kill her in the dream, since Buffy manages to wake up from it. In that episode, Giles claims she never had a watcher, and attributes her appearance to the "spell [they] cast with Buffy" in Primeval, later claiming that "the Slayer's power was an affront to the source of that power". The entity in question is referred to as "Sineya, the First of Ones." Whether this is the "name" of the First Slayer, or the source of its power is unknown.
