The Fundamental Elements Of Southtown is an album by rock group P.O.D. The album was the Atlantic Records debut of group. It was released on August 24, 1999. After a slow start, the album went on to sell over 1 million copies becoming the band's first platinum album and peaked at No. 51 on the Billboard Top 200 chart in April of 2000. Prior to the release of thier first majour album The Fundamental Elements of Southtown, P.O.D. released The Warriors EP, a tribute EP to their loyal fans.
P.O.D.'s 1999 mainstream debut album, The Fundamental Elements of Southtown, spawned the hits "Southtown," andTotal Request Live favorite "Rock the Party".
