The Iowa Review is an American literary magazine that publishes stories, poems, essays and reviews, many of which are later reprinted in annual anthologies.[1]

Iowa Awards The magazine gives out the Iowa Awards for fiction, poetry, and literary nonfiction. Outside judges name the winners, who each receive $1,000 and are published, along with some finalists, in the magazine's December issue.[1]
