The John Lennon Collection is a retrospective compilation album of John Lennon music released in 1982 by Parlophone Records, through E.M.I. Records. Initially distributed by Geffen Records in the US, E.M.I. acquired the distribution rights to Double Fantasy (originally a Geffen release) in 1989. In light of this, The John Lennon Collection was remastered and reissued worldwide through E.M.I. in 1989 with four bonus tracks for its CD release (Happy Xmas (War Is Over), Stand By Me, Move Over Ms. L, and Cold Turkey).
