The Mr. T Experience are a band from Berkeley, California who began in the 1980s. Taking their name from bouncer-turned-actor and television personality Mr. T, their lyrics are often of a comic, satirical nature. They emerged out of the Gilman Street Project/Lookout! Records punk-pop scene that also produced Green Day and Operation Ivy. With nearly each album their lineup has shifted, with Dr. Frank now being the only original member of the trio. Their most recent album, Yesterday Rules, was released in 2004.
