The New Danger is the long-awaited second album by Mos Def, released on October 19, 2004. It features not only hip hop but rock, blues and soul songs as well. Track 5, "The Rape Over" was removed from the second pressing of the album due to comments such as "some tall Israeli is runnin' this rap shit", a reference to Lyor Cohen, former head of Def Jam. The song is also a take on Jay-Z's song "The Takeover." Both songs were produced by Kanye West. Image File history File links New_danger. ...
