Ross and Elizabeth decide they like each other too much to simply give up, and embark on a secret relationship.

Sub-Plots

Chandler's old college friend is in town directing a movie, and Joey is desperate to get an audition. Chandler consents to call her up, but refuses to ask her over the phone - since he hasn't seen her in ten years - and they go for coffee together, to Monica's consternation. He finds he can't ask her at coffee after she starts complaining about how one of their old acquaintances rang her up out of the blue and asked to edit her movie, and so he asks her to dinner. At dinner, she misinterprets his eagerness to keep her there, and tells him that she's flattered, but doesn't want to pursue a relationship. She asks him if there's anything that she can do to make it up to him, and he says yes - she can give his friend Joey an audition for her movie.
