The Racket was one of the first films nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture (then called "Best Picture, Production") in 1927. The movie was written by Eddie Adams (titles), Del Andrews, Harry Behn, Bartlett Cormack (adaptation) and Bartlett Cormack (play), and directed by Lewis Milestone.


The movie is a crime drama starring Thomas Meighan, Marie Prevost, Louis Wolheim, and George E. Stone. Only one copy of the film is known to exist.
