Plot

The Replacements follows the adventures of two orphan siblings named Todd and Riley. One day while cleaning up their orphanage (as seen in the theme song), they find a comic book with an ad by a company named Fleemco. The ad states that for only $1.98 any person will get access to 'The Replacements,' people that replace current adults in the life of whomever needs or wants it. Todd and Riley get new parents from Fleemco. Their father is Dick Daring, a world famous daredevil, and their mother is Agent K, a British spy. They, as well, get each their own cellphone called the "FleemTel" which works as a cellphone and gives access to the replacement service. Anytime, they could just dial Fleemco up to replace anyone. // An orphanage is an institution or asylum for the care of a child bereaved of both father and mother; sometimes, also, a child who has but one parent living. ... Main Characters

  • Todd Daring - He is the younger, trouble-making and conceited of the Daring siblings. He usually uses the Fleemco phone to replace people for small things, such as not letting him have is way.
  • Riley Daring - She is the older, more responsible, and more trustworthy sibling. She enjoys school. She mostly uses the Fleemco phone to replace someone who is mean or unfair. She is a tomboy and enjoys playing baseball, and covets a cheerleader. She is part of the Journalism staff at school. She has a crush on Johnny Hitswell.
  • Dick Daring - He is the siblings' world-famous daredevil father. He is a semi-former stunt artist, and is constantly working on new tricks. He resembles Evel Knievel. He is also rather immature, and is seen having a teddy bear known as "Evil Bearnievel".
  • Agent K Daring - She resembles Emma Peel. She is the siblings' mother who is of British decent and is a superspy. From an outside view it may seem she doesn't care for her kids or husband, but in fact she loves them devotedly, even though she may express it through a recording or videotape. If something is done unfairly, she fixes it very quickly. She is seen to be a terrible cook. Her career as a spy has also made her highly suspicious of anything that is the least bit out-of-place, to the point of paranoia.
  • C.A.R.T.E.R. - C.A.R.T.E.R. is the high-tech family car. He can do just about anything, but is never willing to do anything for the family, especially not for Dick. He often calls Dick a twit. The family usually refers to him as simply CAR.
  • Conrad Fleem - Conrad is the mysterious owner of the Fleemo company. He processes Todd and Riley's requests whenever they call him.
  • Tasumi - She is Riley's best friend, and seems to be of Japanese descent. She wears a metal suit. She claims her family is part of a crime-fighting team. (parody of Power Rangers or Super Sentai)
  • Abbey - She is Riley's other best friend. Even though she hates the popular girls such as Sierra, she is seen wanting to be a part of them so bad, and has a habit of telling Sierra she is cool, even though she doesn't mean to.
  • Shelton Klutzberry - Shelton is a nerd at school. He is afraid of girls, and once had a relationship with Celebrity Starr. He becomes very muscular when he takes his glasses off, but this is not to his advantage because he can't use contacts, and has to have glasses. His voice and mannerisims are greatly similar to famous comedian Jerry Lewis.
  • Buzz Winters - Buzz is a wannabe bully and is Todd's arch nemesis.
  • Hakobo - Todd's best friend who is of Mexican descent.
  • Johnny Hitswell - He is the subject of Riley's affection. Even though every girl in the school is all over him, he tends to pay no attention to them most of the time, except for his annual Valentine's day card readings. He enjoys baseball, and plays on the same team as Riley.
  • Sierra McCool - She is the popular girl at school, and is Riley's arch nemesis. She is constantly competing with Riley for the affections of Johnny Hitswell. She has her own posse and a huge, conceited ego. She is seen to have another side in which, she is infatuated with a Star Trek parody mentioned, which Todd also likes. This forges a bond between the two, which doesn't last long when she becomes a cheerleader again.
  • Principal Cutler - He is the principal of George Stapler Middle School. Since he is from Alaska, he allows school on major snow days until Todd and Riley changed it one time.
