The prophecies of a Second Coming are various and span across many religions and cultures. Most notable is the Christian and Muslim belief in the return of Jesus. Another is Maitreya (Pali: Metteyya), a bodhisattva, prophesied by Gautama Buddha to be the next Buddha who will return to restore Buddhism when it becomes lost or corrupt.
Then, 500 years later another one comes and these are all preparations for the first 3 initiations, for just establishing a teaching group, a group for the secondcoming, for the energy of Maitreya the Christ to come forth, and begin teaching where there would be a response.

The interpretation of the SecondComing is important in the doctrine of Jehovah's Witnesses, as these hold that it occurred in 1914, and instead of an apocalypticSecondComing it is to be interpreted as an unseen presence, and the visible events of the final times will occur at a later date.
