The Trifecta is a one hour programming block on ESPN of three, twenty minute, sports news and information shows from 12am ET to 1am ET and also from 12pm ET till 1pm ET. The Trifecta, which debuted on April 5, 2005, is a year round programming initiative, following SportsCenter, airs Monday thru Saturday. Outside the Lines Nightly, which is hosted by Bob Ley, usually leads off from 12am ET till 12:20am ET and 12pm ET till 12:20pm ET, followed by two in- season sport specific news programs from 12:20am ET till 12:40am ET and the finale from 12:40am ET till 1:00am ET and then in the afternoon from 12:20pm ET till 12:40 ET and then from 12:40pm ET to 1:00pm ET. Occationally SportsCenter will cut into twenty minutes of The Trifecta due to programming changes. There are four in- season sports programs to fill out the two sports shows following Outside the Lines Nightly.
