 | In all fairness, the effects depicting the titular void seen at the beginning and at the climax, although sparse, are impressive and well done, and the initial premise is intriguing enough to keep us watching (it's in the execution of this premise that it falls short; more on that later). |
| In THE VOID, he does a good job adding shades of gray to character written as a stock corporate villain, and by the end, we manage to sympathize with him, if not his motives. |
