The Weather Company is the main provider of weather services to Australian television stations and weather-related websites. It specializes in converting data from the Bureau of Meteorology into more user-friendly formats. Its main role is providing graphics and weather information for television weather presenters. It provides the weather services for among others the Ten Network (The Weather Company's first client), the Seven Network, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, and the world weather reports for SBS. It also provides detailed agricultural forecasts to country areas of Australia, through the Prime Network. The Bureau of Meteorology is an Australian government organisation responsible for providing weather services to Australia and surrounding areas. ... Ten Network logo Network TEN so called because it broadcasts on Channel TEN in most cities, is Australias third but possibly most profitable television network. ... The Seven Network (ASX: SEV) is Australias largest television network, available in major markets across Australia. ...
