Things Fall Apart released in 1999 is a hip hop album by the Philadelphia based group The Roots. The album features guest artists:Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, Eve, Common, and Mos Def. This album is considered by many to be the group's breakthrough album with the hit "You Got Me" which won a grammy award, and the minor hit "The Next Movement" which had DJ Jazzy Jeff doing the background "cuttin and scratchin".
