Thomas (Tad) Lincoln (April 4, 1853 - July 16, 1871) was the son of President Abraham Lincoln and Mary Todd Lincoln. He and his older brother Willie always cause mischief like ringing the bells in the attic of the White House. And always make their Father laugh. In Feburary of 1862 his brother Willie died, leaving him with no one to play with. His oldest brother Robert Todd Lincoln was in collage. On April 14, 1865 Tad whent to the Grover Theater to see 'Aladdin and the Magic Lamp' when his father was assassinated by John Wilkes Booth at Ford's Theater. Tad later died in 1871 at the age of 18.
