Lollar (12-7) struck out six and walked three before needing relief help in the ninth from DeLeon, who gained his 12th save.
Ripley was working on a one-hit shutout and had retired 15 in a row when Tim Flannery doubled with one out in the sixth and went to third on Lollar's groundout.
It's something Lollar may soon have for herself and though it may be a slight distraction to her golf game, it would be flattering.
Since March, Lollar has played in 15 events as a member of the Western Canadian Junior Golf Tour, where she is ranked first and the Canadian Junior Golf Association.
It has been a hectic summer for Lollar but probably even more so for her parents Tim and Lori, who have supported her at virtually every tournament and put in a lot of time and money and helped get her started in the game, five years ago.
