The Ting Yuen (Ch:定遠) was the Chinese flagship at the Battle of the Yalu River, which took place on September 17, 1894, between the Japanese and Chinese during the first Sino-Japanese War.
Ting Yuen was built by AG Vulcan, in Stettin, Germany (now Szczecin, Poland).
The Ting Yuen was 7670 tons loaded and had a speed of 14.5 knots (27 km/h).
