Tintigny is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Luxembourg. On January 1st, 2004, Tintigny had a total population of 3,554 (1,741 males and 1,813 females). The total area is 81.79 km² which gives a population density of 43.45 inhabitants per km².

After the French Revolution, Tintigny was incorporated in 1795 in the department of Forests; it was confered the municipal status in 1823.
