Thomas Alfred Conrad (b. 1984) is the former guitarist for The Academy Is.... Before joining The Academy Is..., he played guitar for the now-defunct Chicago band 504 Plan. He is a photographer and owns a website to showcase his photographs. Tom mainly uses a Canon SLR 20D camera and AE-1. Some of his photographs have been taken with a Lomo Actionsample. As of October 24, 2006, he started selling limited amounts of photographs, all numbered and autographed by him. 1984 (MCMLXXXIV) was a leap year starting on Sunday of the Gregorian calendar. ... The Academy Is… is a rock band based in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. ...


As of October 23, 2006, Conrad is no longer a member of The Academy Is....


In November 2006, Tom joined Panic! at the Disco on tour. He has been seen photographing their shows. Panic! at the Disco is an alternative rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. ...
