TomPhillips started his treatment of W.H. Mallock's Victorian novel in the mid sixties and an initial complete version was privately published by the Tetrad Press in 1970.
In each subsequent edition TomPhillips has reworked his earliest versions of the novel's pages with the eventual aim of replacing the whole of the book, as it stood in 1970, with new variations.
TomPhillips has exhibited extensively throughout the world, including solo exhibitions at Yale University, the National Gallery of Australia, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, the Victoria and Albert, London's National Portrait Gallery, and the Royal Academy.
Prior to C&W, Tom worked for PA Consulting Group, Orange and British Aerospace and has extensive international experience, particularly in Asia.
Tom is a Chartered Engineer and holds an MBA from Cranfield and the University of Washington.
For many years, Tom has also played a leading role in a number of influential think tanks and international organisations, including board membership of the UK-Japan 21st Century Group, the Caribbean Council for Europe and the Home Office Technical Advisory Board (TAB).
