Thomas Anthony Cunningham (born 16 September 1952, Workington) is Member of Parliament for Workington in the United Kingdom, and a member of the Labour Party. He became MP in 2001, having previously been leader of Allerdale District Council, and a member of the European Parliament for Cumbria North, from 1994 to 1999. Before entering politics he was a teacher at Netherhall School in Maryport.
