The CD Right away became a Classic And Best Seller in The Dominican Rock History. Songs like "El Gevito", "Amigo", and "Mi Pais" Were hits In The Dominican Radio shortly after their album release.

That Same Year they Are Nominated as the "Best Rock Group" In the Cassandra Awards a Similar Dominican version of The Grammy Awards. They Also participated in the international event at Alto De Chavon "Rock Sobre Las Piedras" Show.

Towards 1993 the young group was chosen by Dominicans to represent them in The International Festival "Festival De Benidorm" In Spain With the Song "Dios Salve Al Viajero"(God Save The Traveler). In 1996 they Released the 2^nd independent album named "Moneda"(Coins and/or Money). Bigger Success Resulted from This Second Album. Songs Like "Llorar", "Ramona" and the long waited "Dios Salbve Al Viajero" All became Top #1 In Dominican radio Stations. This Album is considered one of the Classics Of Dominican Rock and at the same time it sparked the Bands Evolution. In 2002 They Release their 4^th album named "Magia". International Critics often said it was their Best composed/made album. The Song "El Viaje" and "Angel Ciego" too climb The Top Position of Radio Stations in the country for several weeks. This Last Album involves Punk, Afro, alternative, and fusions of Guitar braking the barrier of all of the Albums released before. This album was different from Predecessors in which it expanded the musical aspect, and the bands potential to compose and record music. Current Times

In mid 2003 Rumors of Disbanding Toque Profundo were heard but never became official. Due to Dominican Republic's Critical Economic condition TP was forced cease concerts and to each of them try to find a way to expand their musical life. At this time each of them formed a Project band and Clemente left the country to the U.S to promote TP's work in New York City The efforts included a showcase in Sirius Satellite Radio, an interview in Music Choice, and several concerts in upper Manhattan. After that mini-tour, the band ceased to be a power house of Dominican Rock, never releasing a new track and only playing their old material. Members started their personal projects and only play together selling the nostalgics of better times. The band is finished, although it's not official.
