Torre del Mangia towering above of the Palazzo Pubblico

The Torre del Mangia was built in 1334 and is located in Siena in the Tuscany region of Italy. The tower is the focal point of the Piazza del Campo, Siena's premier square. When built it was one of the tallest non-sectarian towers in mediaeval Italy.
