Simms, nicknamed "Tremendous", is still undefeated but was stripped of the belt in May of 2005 because he filed a lawsuit against the WBA Organization for not enforcing his mandatory contract that he recieved from the WBA Organization when he won the regular world title from Alejandro Garcia Dec. 2, 2003 but the WBA continue to ignore Simms request to enforce his mandate or strip the Super champion Ronald "Winky" Wright but the WBA continue to let Wright fight as they benefited from collecting sanctioning fees after his defense's but never order any compensation fees to Simms but fabricated that they strip him for failing to defend his title against Garcia a year after Simms Defeated Garcia by fifth round knockout when actually Simms had to threating to sue WBA when Garcia was champion to enforce his mantdatory for the regular WBA super Welterweight championship and has not fought since beating McKart in 2004.
