Thrissur pronunciation (help· info) (Malayalam: തൃശ്ശൂര്‍) is a city situated in the center of Kerala (Malayalam: കേരളം) state, India.It is the head quarters of Thrissur District. Thrissur is the fourth largest city in Kerala after Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode. It is an important cultural centre, and is known as the "cultural capital" of Kerala.
