Trifolium pratense is said to retard progress of cancerous tumours before ulceration has taken place.[3] In cancer an extract of the blossoms is used.
Isoflavones such as those found in Trifolium pratense may reduce the risk of cancer, including breast cancer.[6] There is an absence of scientific data on its mode of action when applied clinically on a herbal or homeopathic basis.
