The term Trigon may refer to several things:

  • A three-sided ancient Greek or Roman lyre.
  • A Triangle.
  • A fictional character in the comic series Teen Titans. Trigon is large, red, four-eyed demon with antlers, and he is father of the superhero Raven.
  • In gemmology, the triangular etch pits seen on the natural surfaces of a diamond. A trigon's points are aligned towards the edges of the crystal's octahedral faces. Similar etch markings include rectangles, squares, or parallel lines. As with trigons they are often intentionally left intact to aid diamond cutting and can be seen under high magnification, usually along or adjacent to the finished stone's girdle.
  • Trigon is a fusion band from Germany.
  • Trigon is also a folk jazz band from Moldova.
  • An engineering society at the University of Virginia.
  • The former name of the Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance company for the state of Virginia. After a series of mergers, Trigon Blue Cross Blue Shield is part of WellPoint, and does business as Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Virginia.
