Trippin' has been the subject of much criticism and has been on the receiving end of one of Maddox's trademark rants [1] on The Best Page in the Universe, on an article written on his site on May 15, 2005. It is seen as a hypocritical show, with multi-million Hollywood celebrities extolling the 'virtues' of a simple life, whilst travelling in environmentally damaging private jets and vehicles. The celebrities also apparantly "forgot" about the excessively wasteful lifestyles they've been living, and only pay lipservice to what they should do to make the environment better.
