Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids! Television advertisement for Trix cereal featured an anthropomorphized rabbit, drawn in a cartoon style, who did not like the traditional rabbit diet. He said, in his black and white debut in 1961, "I'm a rabbit, and rabbits are supposed to like carrots. But I hate carrots. I like Trix!" The Trix Rabbit's love for the "raspberry red, lemon yellow, orange orange" taste of Trix cereal compelled him to dress in disguises of all sorts in an attempt to obtain Trix cereal from children. Unfortunately, every attempt ended with the same reply: "Silly Rabbit, Trix are for Kids!" Image File history File links No higher resolution available. ...
