Full-forward is a position in Australian Rules Football with a key focus on kicking goals. ...
Wilson was famous for his uncompromising manner of play. His attacks on the ball from full-forward often lead to medical treatment for his oppponents. He crossed to arch rivals East Perth in 2000 where he played the season as a full-forward and played his part in helping the side end a 20 year premiership drought. His efforts saw him quite remarkably be picked up by the West Coast Eagles at the age of 29 - very unheard of in this day and age. After a solid debut season where he led the West Coast Eagles' goalkicking in 2001, he was again solid in 2002 before a shocking year in 2003, where he played only 5 games, forced his delisting.
