 | A tunnel linking Tseung Kwan O to Kowloon East has been proposed to provide better links to and from the expanding new town. |
| In a Legislative Council paper today, the Environment, Transport and Works Bureau said the Tseung Kwan O-Lam Tin Tunnel will be a dual two-lane 4.3km carriageway, linking Tseung Kwan O with East Kowloon at Cha Kwo Ling, and connecting with the planned Trunk Road T2. |
| Together with the Central Kowloon Route and the Trunk Road T2 in South East Kowloon, it will form part of the strategic Route 6 between Tseung Kwan O and West Kowloon. |
