The Armies Deploy (0 words)
Predictably the troops under Hishimisharruma and Tudhaliyas were much more amenable to the idea of a fight, Hishimisharruma ordered the Syrian vassal chariotry forward to extend the battle line on the right to the edge of the plain whilst the Hittite spearmen advanced forward at a high rate.
Tudhaliyas, somewhat worried by the possibility of being seriously outflanked started to move the Anatolian vassal chariotry towards the left wing, however, he was wary of leaving the centre weak and so did not move them too far.
Tudhaliyas, seeing his commander racing to his aid, took courage and charged forward into the enemy chariots with his Hittite chariotry, despite taking losses from the enemy bowmen to his flank.
