Two World Trade Center, the South Tower (tower 2) of the World Trade Center in New York City, was completed in 1973 at a height of 415 m (1362 feet). It was destroyed in the September 11, 2001 attacks. See also: One World Trade Center tenants.

1993 World Trade Center bombing: On February 26, 1993, a bomb planted by terrorists exploded in the underground garage of the north tower, opening a 30m hole through 4 sublevels of concrete.
The twin towers and 7 World Trade Center, an adjacent 47-storey building, collapsed in a terrorist attack on September 11, 2001, when two commercial jetliners were deliberately crashed into the twin towers.
