The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia serves the residents of thirty-four counties through six divisions. The Augusta division covers: Burke, Columbia, Glascock, Jefferson, Lincoln, McDuffie, Richmond, Taliaferro, and Wilkes counties. The Brunswick division serves Appling, Camden, Glynn, Long, McIntosh, and Wayne counties. The Dublin division covers: Dodge, Jeff Davis, Johnson, Laurens, Montgomery, Telfair, Treutlen, and Wheeler counties. The Savannah division includes: Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty counties. The Statesboro division hears cases for: Bulloch, Candler, Emanuel, Evans, Jenkins, Screven, Tattnall, and Toombs counties. The Waycross division serves Atkinson, Bacon, Brantley, Charlton, Coffee, Pierce, and Ware counties. |
