The first, Bull (DE-52), was a Buckley-classdestroyer escort, launched in 1943, and transferred to the Royal Navy, in which she served as HMS Bentinck (K314). The ship was returned to the United States and struck in 1946.
The second, Bull (DE-693/APD-78), was a Buckley-class destroyer escort, launched in 1943 and converted to a Charles Lawrence-class high-speed transport in 1944. She was struck in 1966, and sold to Taiwan where she served as ROCS Lu Shan (PF-36), until she was struck and scrapped in 1995.
