USSCincinnati (CL-6) was an Omaha-class light cruiser of the United States Navy.
Cincinnati was based at Pearl Harbor from April 1940, voyaging to Guam and the Philippines on transport duty at the close of that year.
Overhauled at New York early in 1944, Cincinnati served as escort flagship for the crossing of three convoys from New York to Belfast between March and July 1944, guarding the passage of men and equipment essential to the invasion of Europe.
USSCincinnati (SSN-693), a Los Angeles-class submarine, was the fourth ship of the United States Navy to be named for Cincinnati, Ohio.
The contract to build her was awarded to Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company in Newport News, Virginia on 4 February 1971 and her keel was laid down on 6 April 1974.
Cincinnati was decommissioned and stricken from the Naval Vessel Register on 29 July 1996.
